Trav-ler 55 C42 Plastic Clock Radio (1955)

The tuning dial is unusually large, a platter-shaped object on the side of the cabinet. Trav-ler radios are a lot of fun. There's almost always something offbeat, or just plain peculiar, in their design. This one, for instance, has that odd little raised square above the volume control, which exists only to set off the logo, I guess.
